Hope you all had a wonderful July 4th.....We spent time with friends, saw some fireworks and enjoyed some relaxing pool time!
Hard to believe it is already July.....time flies!
Let me introduce you to my 16 year old.....Some of you may remember him from this previous post last year ....and TEXAS Homecoming Mums....
For the last week, this sweet 16 year old boy, young man has been in Crownpoint, New Mexico building houses for a non-profit called Next Step Ministries, it serves the Navajo Indian Nation. I am sure he is having a blast and learning a lot at the same time! He texted me this picture, he said they shingled a house in 3 days....High five son!
As a surprise, I decided to make some changes in his room.......He has wanted a futon but since he and I could not decide on what he wanted before he left, I got a wild hair and did this.............
A pallet bed for his room.....However, this is not really a pallet bed.....It is a "We made our own pallet bed....BED"!
Hopefully, fingers crossed, I should be finished with his room tomorrow and I'll share the how to's and the other details in his new room!
